There three pillars revolves around profit, people and planet in creating three E as environment, equity and economics. The triple factors in business are made and developed in such a way that better communities for safe, secure and healthy support systems can be created. While incorporating the concept of sustainability there are certain serious challenges and responses that are faced hence sustainability needs to be incorporated as a discipline rather than a measure. Human growth and development have imposed greater challenges on biology, social sciences and geology or political science. The concept of sustainability is an interdisciplinary concept that assimilates understanding from various fields such that sustainability can be incorporated. There are various pertinent research carried on to create sustainable for of electricity and results has been incredible. The whole feature and concept of sustainability is to realize for the cyclical, dynamic and interdependent nature of life on earth such that an equilibrium can be established. Solar and wind energy are now being used for generating sustainable electricity, which is renewable in nature and has almost no pollution. Energy and materials have closed loops and hence they will continue for millions of years with interconnections and interdependence. Thus, sustainability means to account for natural capital such that environment can be saved to an extent. The scope of current topic focuses on c reating a sustainable future for electricity hence alternate source that are renewable and non-perishable causing less amounts of wastes or pollution needs to be evaluated. Western Australias mining sector has received considerable support from state governments that has resulted in recent success and mining boom due to its environmental and economic success. Mining development in this part of the country has resulted in tremendous growth in incomes and employment opportunities thus, impacting the socio-economic lines. However mining imposes great challenges on the environment due to resource intense activities. As mining of coal which is an essential item for generation of electricity is used is mined in this area, hence sourcing of sustainable energy forms has to be developed. Large scale mining in the region has caused development of infrastructure which has led to reduction in biodiversity; production of wastes to large extent, pollution, water shortages as some short term effects while there remains to be a number of long term impacts. Mining in the area has also hampered indigenous rights as there are various traditions and artifacts of indigenous people that have been hampered due to mining activities in the region. The government has taken several steps in order to prevent loss or threat to aboriginal people to protect their rights such that a positive impact can be created on them. There are a number of social and cultural impacts generated from mining activities thus, the economic boom periods in mining can be made to extend environmental, social and cultural impacts. Mining can also be done sustainably through analysis of the financial and social benefits that accrue from it. Mining companies from private and government can make and effort for rep lenishing resources and reservoirs such that there can be a connection made of environment with that of mining.
